大阪大学大学院理学研究科生物科学専攻では、生物科学に関するすべての研究領域を考慮対象として、卓越した独創的研究を展開し、国内外でリーダーシップを発揮できる教授を公募します。採用された方は、研究に加え、全学共通教育・学部・大学院教育を担当していただきます。
なお、本公募は、「男女雇用機会均等法」 第8条（女性労働者に係る措置に関する特例）の規定により、女性教員の割合が相当程度少ない現状を積極的に改善するための措置として女性に限定した公募を実施するものです。

研究室を主宰し研究を推進するとともに、理学研究科生物科学専攻における、大学院・学部の教育・研究指導と運営（入試、各種委員等）、全学共通教育、組織運営に携わっていただきます。

The Department of Biological Sciences, Graduate School of Science, Osaka University, invites applications for a professor who will conduct outstanding original research and demonstrate leadership in the world in all research areas related to biological sciences. In addition to research, the employed candidate will be responsible for university-wide education, undergraduate education, graduate education, and management of the department.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 8 of the "Equal Employment Opportunity Law" for Japanese government (special provisions regarding measures for female workers), this open recruitment is limited to female applicants as a measure to proactively improve the current situation where the percentage of female faculty members is considerably low.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be expected to lead a research group and
- conduct research on the Biological Science,
- actively participate in education for graduate and undergraduate students, and perform other university-related duties.

Qualifications

[Essential] (1) Applicants must be female. (2) Applicants must have: i) Ph.D. ii) Sufficient research achievements and activity iii) Business level or above Japanese language proficiency

April 1, 2023 (or as soon as possible thereafter)

No fixed term (Until the end of the fiscal year at 65 years of age)

Additional Information
